Jo-Anne Oliveri CIPS,TRC
Head of Operations & Development, Property Management
Harcourts, Queensland (Australia)

Creating a stronger emphasis on property management within Harcourts franchises in Queensland led to the corporate appointment of industry leader in property management and sales, Jo-Anne Oliveri.  Joining Harcourts Queensland in 2006 as the Head of Operations & Development, Property Management, Jo-Anne is an award-winning and internationally qualified industry identity. She is responsible for assisting Harcourts franchises in optimising efficiency and profitability of their property management division.

Ms Oliveri brings a multitude of experience and knowledge to her role, having previously served on the REIQ Property Management Chapter and served on two Property Trust Boards as a Director. She won the 2003 REIQ Property Manager of the Year Award for Excellence and the Leading Agents of Australia National Property Manager of the Year 2001.

In addition, Jo-Anne is the Founder and President of Leading Agents of the World, a global network of elite and ethical real estate agents. The purpose of the network is to provide a service to international property buyers, sellers and renters so that they could confidently make international global transactions regardless of where they live in the world.

She was recently awarded the prestigious Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation, by the National Association of Realtors (NAR), which represents over 1,100,000 realtors in the United States. This designation recognises members who have achieved the necessary training and experience to work successfully with international clients and properties through rigorous coursework devoted to cultural differences and international business practices.

Ms Oliveri said property management is an extremely important part of any real estate business because the rent roll is the only tangible asset of that business. Likewise it is critically important that both owners and tenants are educated and understand their rights and responsibilities.

“It is important to optimise systems within the property management division to make a profit for businesses and consistantly provide honest, professional and ethical service for our clients. Part of my role is to provide a mentoring role to the property management team of Harcourts franchises,” Ms Oliveri said.
